Muthig Environmental Inc. was founded in May 2001 by Paul J. Muthig. The company was founded on the premise of providing professional and cost effective consulting services in a timely manner. Mr. Muthig has worked in the environmental arena for 29 years including petroleum and coal exploration and mining, as a regulator at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control, working as a hydrogeologist for international consulting firms and now as president of Muthig Environmental Inc. Muthig Environmental is the second firm started by Mr. Muthig.
Clients include insurance companies, industry, government and private institutions. Project experience includes the evaluation of assessment and/or remediation of contamination in the United States, Puerto Rico, Spain and Peru. The company provides cost control for assessment and remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon contamination in soil and groundwater. Services include refined product and contamination associated with the oil and gas exploration industry. Mr. Muthig has a BS in Geology from the University of South Carolina and a MS in Geology from the University of Kentucky. Currently he is registered as a professional geologist/hydrogeologist in several southeastern states.
